Baufritz has been building timber homes in Bavaria since 1896, and the Hygge takes its design direction from Scandinavian principles of comfort and warmth. The name is deliberate: the layout, the materials, and the room proportions are all chosen to create a home that feels genuinely inviting rather than architecturally impressive. A Nordic-inspired facade with natural materials and a pitched roof give it a relaxed, settled appearance.
Baufritz's ecological timber frame and proprietary wood shaving insulation deliver strong thermal performance, and the home integrates modern technology for climate management throughout. Windows are well-proportioned to balance natural light with the warmth of the interior. At 88 m² across two storeys, there is enough space for a family to live comfortably.
Chemical-free, allergy-friendly materials are standard. Customisation on finishes and internal configuration is available.
