About This Home
Baufritz has been building timber homes in Bavaria since 1896, and the Ideenreich V3 represents the latest iteration of one of their more experimental designs. At just over 88 m² across two storeys, the layout is flexible and designed to accommodate varied lifestyles, with natural light and adaptable room configurations prioritised throughout.
The construction uses advanced ecological timber techniques and the latest generation of Baufritz's wood shaving insulation, combined with triple glazing for strong thermal performance. The contemporary roof integrates sustainable functionality, and the facade mixes modern materials with more traditional elements in a way that is considered rather than arbitrary.
This version of the Ideenreich has been updated to meet current ecological standards and includes smart home integration throughout. Customisation is available on finishes and internal layout.

The Ideenreich V3 is the most technically current version of one of Baufritz's more architecturally interesting models, with updated insulation, glazing, and climate systems across the board.
