Baufritz has been building ecological timber homes since 1896, and the Modern Living is one of their most explicitly Bauhaus-influenced designs. The flat roof and expansive roof terrace are the defining features here: the terrace is a genuine usable outdoor space at height, not just a flat roof treatment. At just over 140 m², the layout works across three bedrooms and three bathrooms with an open-plan interior that reflects the architectural reference.
Construction uses Baufritz's ecological timber frame with their proprietary wood shaving insulation throughout. The design promotes a strong indoor-outdoor connection across all levels, with the roof terrace representing an additional living area that most homes at this scale don't offer. Energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly materials are standard throughout.
