Baufritz has been building timber homes in Bavaria since 1896, and the Nordic applies Scandinavian design principles to the brand's ecological construction approach. Clean lines, a minimalist palette, and a distinctive Nordic-inspired roof design give the exterior a composed, settled quality. The two-storey layout at just over 111 m² prioritises open-plan living and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Baufritz's signature wood shaving insulation and modern climate control deliver strong energy performance, and large energy-efficient windows serve both the natural light quality inside and the home's thermal credentials. Chemical-free ecological materials are standard throughout. Customisation on finishes and internal layout is available.
The Nordic works well in rural or semi-rural UK settings, where the Scandinavian aesthetic reads naturally against open landscape. German engineering standards apply, with UK compliance confirmed on a project by project basis.
