The Schindele takes Alpine residential architecture seriously. The prominent gabled roof, wooden balconies, and shingle detailing are not applied superficially: they reflect the building typology of mountain and rural Central European housing, and Baufritz has the manufacturing experience to execute them well. For a plot in a mountain context, or for a buyer who wants that regional character, this is one of the more authentic options in the prefab market.
The ecological timber frame construction includes Baufritz's wood shaving insulation, energy-efficient heating, and modern climate control. The traditional aesthetic is delivered within a current energy performance envelope. The interior is configured over two storeys plus attic space, with natural materials throughout, and customisation of layout and finishes is available.
German engineering standards apply. UK compliance is confirmed per project.
