Schweiger
About This Home
Baufritz has been building ecological timber homes in Bavaria since 1896, and the Schweiger is a two-storey design with a combined flat and pitched roof that gives the exterior some visual interest without being overtly expressive. At just under 185 m², the floor plan is well-sized for a larger family, with six bedrooms spread across the two levels. The mixed material facade adds further depth to the exterior.
Construction uses Baufritz's ecological timber frame with their proprietary wood shaving insulation. Advanced energy management, smart climate control, and smart home integration are all part of the specification. The build meets Baufritz's allergy-friendly material standard, which applies across their full range.
The Schweiger is a functional, generously sized family home that delivers the core Baufritz ecological proposition without the higher price points of the more architecturally distinctive models. Interior configurations are customisable. German engineering standards apply; UK compliance is confirmed on a project by project basis.
What We Love
Six bedrooms across 185 m² with Baufritz's full ecological timber frame spec including proprietary wood shaving insulation: the Schweiger delivers genuine family scale at a relatively accessible point in the Baufritz range.
