Baufritz has been building ecological timber homes since 1896, and the Valfontana is one of their Alpine-designed models built for mountain environments. The expansive glazing is deliberately oriented to capture mountain views, and the facade uses a contemporary interpretation of the Alpine roof form alongside mixed materials.
