The Lapinsaari is a one-and-a-half storey model from Scandinavian Homes, covering 140 m² with a traditional pitched roof and dormer windows that give it a distinctly Nordic character. It is built to Passive House principles with mineral wool and PIR insulation, an MVHR ventilation system, and an air-to-water heat pump throughout. Four bedrooms are distributed across two floors, with the upper level providing three bedrooms and a family bathroom.
This is a good option for growing families or households with a home-working requirement, since the layout creates natural separation between living and sleeping zones. Interior layout, finishes, and lighting are all customisable. Optional solar PV panels extend the sustainability credentials. What We Love
Passive House principles in a 1.5-storey pitched roof form is an unusual combination. Most Passive House builds skew contemporary. The Lapinsaari shows Scandinavian Homes can deliver the performance in a more traditional shell.
