The Soina from Scandinavian Homes is a single-storey, A-rated timber frame home built to Passive House principles and manufactured for the Irish market. The closed-panel construction system means panels are assembled under controlled factory conditions before arriving on site, which tightens quality control and shortens the on-site phase. High-performance mineral wool and PIR insulation, triple-glazed windows, and an air-to-water heat pump form the core energy package.
The 110 m² layout includes three bedrooms, a utility room, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Nordic timber and eco-friendly materials are used throughout. Smart home integration and solar PV panels are available as options. The full build runs 14 to 16 weeks, which is fast for a Passive House-standard home.
