The element originated from a Napa Valley site with 270-degree views, with all public rooms gathered at one end of the 1,571 sq ft home behind soaring glass. The open concept living, dining, and kitchen area features sliding glass doors on both sides, while two sound-insulated bedrooms occupy the opposite end. The design creates a clear separation between the social and private zones of the home.

Designed for a site with 270-degree views, the element puts every public room behind a glass wall at one end while the two bedrooms at the opposite end are sound-insulated. At 1,571 sq ft the separation between zones is the whole point of the plan, not a by-product.
