LivingHome 6.1

The LivingHome 6.1 is a single story three bedroom variant of the LivingHome 6 series, distinguished by a pitched standing seam metal roof and courtyard entry arrangement. Designed by Plant Design Studio and manufactured at Plant Prefab's Tejon Ranch factory, it targets LEED Platinum and net zero performance using California Factory Built Housing certified panelized construction. Hard costs cover factory fabrication, transport, installation and sitework; design and permitting are additional.

The pitched standing seam metal roof separates the 6.1 from the flat-roofed variants in the LivingHome 6 series. It changes rainwater drainage, solar panel angle, and how the building reads on a suburban street where flat roofs can attract planning friction.
